Our guest speaker will be James Sims, Community Officer with the Swindon Town FC in the Community Charitable Trust.  He will describe their Extra Time Group initiative, a socially active group which meets weekly at different venues across Swindon and takes part in a sporting activity such as Bowls, Croquet, Badminton and even Swimming, followed by the opportunity for a chat over tea and biscuits.

Admission is free to anyone interested in diabetes and its management.  A selection of Information Leaflets will be available, as will loans from the Group’s library of diabetes Reference Books.

Light refreshments will be served.
