Psychological Support – LIFT

lift-logoPsychological support can help you better manage life’s difficulties, including those related to physical health (for example diabetes) and some common emotional reactions (such as feeling worried or low).

LIFT Psychology is a local NHS primary care service, providing support to adults experiencing such difficulties.

LIFT runs several courses that teach people evidence-based techniques to manage various difficulties, including diabetes, stress, and low mood.

The service has staff based within each GP surgery across Swindon.

You “opt-in” for support from the service – you do not need to be referred by a healthcare professional.

You can book a place on any of the courses by calling 01793 835710 or by visiting https://lift-swindon.awp.nhs.uk. Alternatively, you can make an appointment to meet with the psychology practitioner at your GP surgery during which you can discuss possible ways forward.
